I'm Stu, founder of EightySix Digital, a digital marketing and WordPress web design agency based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Before I launched EightySix Digital, I spent over a decade running my own plumbing business. I learned how to build a website, write content that ranked, and run Google Ads that actually brought in work. Improve Electricians website rankings for local keywords to attract more genuine leads and compete with local companies, some of which are larger franchises.
Solution
Consistency, consistency, consistency. Due to the fairly modest budget, this took time to see results but with regular monthly updates and work we gained traction within a few months and are now competing with businesses 10x larger than us. After building a new website, work began on SEO and hasn't stopped yet.
Result
Organic visitors at the time I took over was non-existent due to no SEO work being done on a badly built website and a lack of GBP usage. Now organic search counts for 80% of incoming traffic and the website is ranking on page 1 for multiple service related keywords that bring in regular clients

Solution
I came in to initially help rectify the issues caused by the website changes. Once we saw that there was an improvement via Google Search Console work began on individual service pages, as previously only the home page was ranking for keywords.
Result
Now we have a local service based business bringing in almost 400 monthly visitors organically that are following through with real conversions and resulting in an increase in workload for the business.

Dad starting making chainsaw carvings of animals, initially just bears, but now he makes owls, hares, rabbits and moles He initially wanted a small website to show them off, but that turned into selling them online.
Solution
After building a single page site, he started creating new designs of different animals. So this then quickly became multi-page as I built individual pages for different animal designs. Next questions was, "can I sell these online", of course you can Dad. Lets quickly install WooCommerce and get you set up there. Of course, every page has been highly optimised and ranks number 1 on Google in the UK for many, many keywords and competes with the likes of Etsy.
Result
Over 500 monthly, organic visitors to the website and generating over £1k a month for a small hobby business. I have specified a budget above, this is an estimate as I obviously haven't charged my Dad for this work, but over the course of the 2 years we've been building this up, I would expect it to have cost approx. $12k
