Challenge

An internet service provider in Peru faced a strong dependency on branded keywords for its organic traffic. More than 94% of organic visits were driven by brand-related searches, while visibility for service-related queries without brand terms was almost non-existent. Additionally, the website presented several technical SEO and UX limitations that prevented it from ranking for high-intent queries within the internet services category and from effectively converting organic visitors into leads.

Solution

Perpetual conducted a comprehensive technical SEO and UX audit, identifying underlying issues affecting search visibility. Each issue was categorized using an impact vs. effort prioritization framework, allowing us to focus generating measurable gains quickly. We implemented a non-brand keyword strategy targeting high-intent queries within the category. This included optimizing landing pages, metadata, internal linking and site structure to strengthen topical relevance and improve crawlability.

Result

Within six months, non-brand organic clicks increased by 126%, reaching more than 45k clicks, while non-brand impressions grew by 104%, surpassing 4.8 million impressions. The average ranking for non-brand keywords improved by 20 positions and the non-brand traffic share increased by 8 percentage points. As a result of the increase in qualified organic traffic, the site’s primary conversion event — the WhatsApp conversation button — also showed strong growth, with a 92% increase in interactions.
