STANDBY Local is an owner-led digital marketing and automation agency based in Charlottesville, Virginia, serving Albemarle County and Central Virginia. We work with trades, studios, shops, clinics, restaurants and service pros who do excellent work but have no time or interest in becoming marketers. Our job is to make sure the right customers find them, every inquiry gets answered, and owners get back to the work they love.
The agency is run by founder Drew Edmondson, who also owns Transcending Health, a Charlottesville wellness center, and Blue Ridge Sound, a DJ and event sound company. Every system we sell is one we run on our own businesses first, so clients get practical, tested work rather than theory.

Challenge
Transcending Health is a Charlottesville massage, acupuncture, corrective exercise and recovery center. Its site had duplicate and outdated pages, broken canonical tags and schema, and prices and contact details that didn't match across Google, Mindbody and other listings. Reviews were going unanswered and the clinic wasn't showing up for core local searches like massage Charlottesville.
Solution
Rebuilt transcendinghealth.net on Webflow around a single massage hub and dedicated service pages, merged duplicates with 301 redirects, fixed canonicals and upgraded schema. Synced services and pricing across the site, Google Business Profile and Mindbody, built out Bing, Apple, Yelp, Nextdoor and Chamber listings, and automated Google posts, review replies, email campaigns and social video posting.
Result
Semrush data, Sept 2025 to Sept 2026: estimated monthly organic traffic grew from 69 to 268 visits (+288%), ranking keywords from 102 to 251 (+146%), and keywords triggering a Google local pack from 79 to 152 (+92%). Every listing now shows the same services, prices and contact info, and new reviews get a reply.

Challenge
Ironwake Customs is an owner-run automotive and marine shop in King George, VA: engine swaps, custom metal fabrication, rust repair and marine work that bring classics back to life, make work trucks work harder and put boats back on the Potomac. The skill was never the problem. Online, the shop was nearly invisible, so people in King George, Dahlgren and Fredericksburg searching for exactly this work couldn't find him, and the business lived on word of mouth.
Solution
In one week, we gave Ironwake a new logo and a website as strong as the work: a custom Webflow site with nine service pages (engine swaps, fabrication, marine and more), seven town pages across his service area, and a build-planner intake that turns a customer's dream project into a quote-ready brief. Over the next three months, we handled local SEO and link building so the shop shows up for people already searching for a craftsman like him.
Result
Ironwake went from hard to find to a viable, growing business. The shop now ranks for 52 organic keywords (up 160%), has 157 backlinks (up 94%) and is starting to appear in AI search answers.
