Co-Founders Andy Scott and Mike Dodgson have worked for both digital agencies, online bookmakers, and multi-national publicly listed companies.   • Affiliate Management - We become part of your team and manage all aspects of your igaming/gambling affiliate program.   • Paid Media Management - Our team of account strategists have experience across the board in a number of different digital marketing areas and have all worked for an online bookmaker of sorts either agency or client side. As a Google Agency Partner we can manage your Google Ads account utilising best practice, and integrating adequate and robust tracking through an affiliate platform. We are also experienced in managing paid social media accounts, which may include help with whitelisting, and subsequently campaign execution for licenced operators
  • Media Buying - Via our in-house demand side platform, we're able to buy media across a number of different sources for Display and Video advertising, connected TV (CTV), Digital Out of Home (DOOH), Audio. We're obsessed with tracking campaigns, analysing results, and optimising towards the most appropriate goals
  • Content & SEO - Our team of writers and SEO technicians work together to produce front end content that is designs to appeal to both search engines and large language models. Our SEO team can also analyse back-end technical aspects of your site, to advise on improvements according to the brief. Our content team has worked with multiple bookmakers across both on-site and off-site content in terms of sports previews or casino game reviews. In addition we also produce off-site thought provoking content, aimed at relevant, topical and high domain authoritative website, for the purposes of tactical link building

Challenge

Our client, PlayStar (playstar.com), is an emerging online casino based in New Jersey. As a challenger brand looking to make a significant impact in the state, PlayStar sought to enhance their presence and build brand recognition. For their first major brand awareness campaign, they turned to TBD.Media to develop and execute an effective digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising strategy.

Solution

Our strategy was to create a campaign that maximised the number of views specifically for the target audience and to reach as many people as possible in a given area. This meant exploring two options for the type of outdoor placement, bars and entertainment venues, and transit locations. These locations represented users who are more than likely close to the brand's demographic, and users who are frequently on the go, with locations that have high footfall.

Result

Along with advertising the brand to a mass audience, and towards the key demographic, we were also able to assess key results in the 3-month campaign compared to the 3 months prior. The results were impressive and exceeded the initial ‘general’ uplift in key metrics: Google Search Console data showed that search queries for the core brand terms "PlayStar" and "Play Star" increased by 32% and 211%. Data from Google Analytics indicated that users who signed up on the site increased by 54%
