Moving is one of the most crowded trades on Google Maps. In Jupiter, Florida, Brooks Moving and Hauling was up against national chains, brokers and every local crew with a truck, all fighting for the same few spots. Most people who need a mover call one of the first three names they see on the map. If you're not in those three, the phone stays quiet, however good your reviews are.
Solution
We ran our Google Maps program on Brooks: Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO, starting with the searches people make when they need a mover now. Once Brooks held the top spots near the shop, we pushed outward town by town, so the business showed up for customers across its service area, not just on its own street.
Result
Day 17: Brooks was in the Google Maps top 3, and #1 for "movers Jupiter Florida". Day 90: top 3 across a 14-mile radius around the shop. The listing now leads with a 4.8 rating from 357 reviews, the first name a customer sees when they search for a mover.

Luxury Fire sells fireplaces and wood stoves online across the US, with orders that run from about $3,800 to over $8,500. Its buyers don't search with a city name. They type "freestanding gas fireplace" or "best wood stove" and pick from the first few results. Those national searches were held by big, established stores like US Fireplace Store, Modern Blaze and Lopi Stoves, and every sale they won was a high-ticket order Luxury Fire never saw.
Solution
We ran a national organic SEO campaign on luxuryfire.com: on-page and technical SEO across its product and category pages, plus content and link building so Google would trust a smaller store over the big names. Every target was a national head term with no city modifier, each carrying over 2,000 searches a month.
Result
Inside 90 days the head terms reached the top 3 on Google. "Freestanding gas fireplace" and "gas freestanding fireplace" hit #1. "Best wood stove", "free standing fireplace" and "modern wood burning stove" reached #3. 7 of the 10 tracked terms are in the top 3 and all 10 are on page one, ahead of US Fireplace Store, Modern Blaze, Lopi Stoves and Forge & Flame, on searches where a single order is worth thousands.

I was a little worried about link building with Awkward Media because I didn't want a bunch of spammy links pointing to our site.
